Comfort Bungalows — Sharing & Caring

In this first residential project in Portugal, Comfort Living has consciously chosen to build spacious homes with very good insulation and a lot of privacy.

“We see that interest in living in Portugal permanently or semi-permanently is increasing. Instead of going on vacation for just a few weeks, people are planning to stay for a longer period of time. But wintering at large holiday complexes – where there is often little to do during the winter period – only increases the feeling of loneliness,” says Jack Bastiaansen, owner of Portugal Comfort Living.

Precisely to prevent this, Portugal Comfort Living’s projects are smaller in design, but with larger homes. Even when you compare the houses with holiday parks for rental properties in Europe, you will see that the number of m² of surface area is often larger at the Portugal Comfort Living Houses.

The 10 Comfort Bungalows at the project location in Canedo de Basto have a big gross area of 130 m² including a veranda of almost 15 meters wide.

GENERAL

The “Comfort Bungalows” project in Canedo de Basto consists of 10 big detached bungalows located around an open space with a large communal swimming pool. All bungalows have a large piece of private land where each owner can design his/her garden according to his/her own wishes.

The project has a unique appearance because the height differences on the site are accentuated by beautiful granite walls, made from granite from the region.

LIVING ROOM

All Comfort Bungalows have a big spacious living room with many glass walls for maximum unobstructed views of the garden and surroundings.

BEDROOMS

Each house has two separate bedrooms with enough space for a king-size bed and a wardrobe.

Your guests have complete freedom and privacy because both bedrooms have their own bathroom and are not adjacent to each other.

Each bedroom has a sliding glass door to the adjacent veranda. Every morning you wake up to birdsong and a beautiful view of the surroundings.

BATHROOMS

Both the bathrooms and the guest toilet are fully equipped with floor tiles in a color that, like all other rooms, matches the environment.

The walls are tiled up to the ceiling. Each bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower with a glass back wall, a washbasin and its own toilet.

KITCHEN

With the exception of the kitchen, all homes are delivered completely finished. Every new homeowner can have a kitchen installed to their own taste (not included in the price).

There is enough space for a corner kitchen with many connection points and sockets.

SWIMMING POOL

The communal swimming pool is designed as a saltwater swimming pool. This is Unique in Portugal and better for your skin protection. Maintenance is very simple and can easily be outsourced.

With a length of 13 meters and a width of 7 meters, the dimensions are more generous than usual. What could be better than swimming a few laps in the morning before having a relaxing breakfast?
